StudioPointe Associate program is built to complement our dancers’ training which they receive from their dance school with specialized industry teachers in each genre.

• SPA’s Classical Ballet will work on Ballet technique to improve Ballet basics and on occasions we will work on repertoire from Classical Ballets.

• SPA’s Modern/Jazz program will focus on developing a strong technical ability. This development will assist dancers to enhance their musicality, artistry, expression and emotion.

• SPA’s Contemporary will focus on the 3 technical abilities, Graham, Cunningham and Release.   Contemporary Ballet will be taught to develop a strong Contemporary Ballet technique with improvisation included. This will develop our dancers to create a style that has freer movements, which is expressive and nontraditional.

• SPA’s Body Conditioning will incorporate certain exercises which concentrate on whole body fitness rather than isolated movements.

• SPA’s program will run on the first Sunday of each month, from 1st September 2024 – 6th July 2025.

We will be offering Classical Ballet and Modern/Jazz at 2 levels, Intermediate and Advanced. Our Body Conditioning and Contemporary lessons will be open for all, however Contemporary will be run on alternative months. Each of our lessons are 1.5hours in length.

For dancers wishing to join SPA there will be an audition, which will take place in one of our lessons.

Fees for Associates are to be paid annually at £180.00 per class. However, if you register you dancer for all 4 dances there is a reduction to £600.00 per annum.
